Manchester United have extended Toby Collyer’s contract until mid-2027 on Thursday. The 20-year-old defensive midfielder joined Manchester United youth system from Brighton in 2022. And although he was named on the bench for the first-team last football season. He has yet to make an appearance.

However, Erik ten Hag and the club’s staff saw Collyer’s potential and recently extended his contract until mid-2027. With the option to extend it for another season UFABET 

Ten Hag is expected to give Collyer more opportunities, particularly in pre-season. Which sees him play against Rosenborg and Rangers, as well as travel to the United States for training. 

For Collyer, he has also decided to commit his future to Old Trafford. With the media reporting that the player is ready to make an impact to seize his opportunity. As Ten Hag has been ready to let players from the youth team come up to train and impress.

It’s up to Collyer to win over ETH, with the players ready to work hard ahead of the new season.

Collyer has gained plenty of experience in the younger age groups, performing in the engine room in competitions such as the EFL Trophy and Premier League 2 play-offs.

He has also had a senior run-out, in last year’s pre-season friendly against Wrexham in San Diego, as part of the summer tour.
